About the Speakers

Sean Baddeley, Vice President, Partnerships, Rho
Sean is the vice president of partnerships at Rho. He is responsible for sourcing, structuring and negotiating deals to create client value. Prior to Rho, Sean spent over four years at Better, a fintech mortgage lender, where he started and scaled the partnerships functions, overseeing relationships with Ally Bank, Compass, Credit Karma and others. Sean started his career on the mortgage-backed securities desk at Goldman Sachs after earning a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University.

Chad Baur, Director of Client Development, Rho
Chad Baur serves as the director of client development at Rho. Chad is responsible for building and scaling a team responsible for onboarding new clients, implementing automation systems and managing existing accounts. As the first client development hire at Rho, Chad worked cross-functionally to create scalable systems and processes prior to hiring and developing his team.

Prior to joining Rho, Chad was a senior manager of business development in American Express’s Global Commercial Services division where he managed the company’s largest and most profitable middle-market client relationships across five states. With more than 10 years of experience in banking and financial services, Chad is passionate about delivering value to his customers in every interaction.

Chad and his wife, Gianna, live in Nashville, Tennessee, and are new parents to a son named Banks. Gianna has served as an executive at a luxury bridal retailer for more than seven years, and she volunteers her time to empower women to achieve their full potential in corporate America. Chad enjoys golfing and leads a weekly investment club with other young professionals in Nashville.
