About the Speaker:
Monica O’Brien is an IT Project Manager for North Carolina State University. She has extensive card experience, including working as the P-Card Program Manager for a large, public, land grant university. Her efforts in training and supporting faculty and staff broadened the awareness of the card program on campus and helped to expand the program by 133% in both number of cards and annual spend. Some of the programs Monica implemented include travel & entertainment, ePayables and the use of ghosted credit cards for ePro purchase order payments. She has experience implementing and upgrading pro-card modules in major ERP systems and has worked with a number of different card providers and their automated tools, educating campus users each time a card provider change was made. Monica’s in-depth experience with the functional aspects of the program allow her to focus her project management skills on program enhancement opportunities.
