NAPCP Higher Education Advisory Team Virtual Roundtable

Three Roles for Commercial Cards in Channel Management
and the Key Role of Cards in Enabling the Catalog Channel

Description

Organizations have different “channels” through which demand for goods and services are met. Each channel comprises different steps and different costs, and effective channel management is the active practice of directing demand to the most appropriate channel based on demand criticality, risk and value.   This virtual roundtable will address how Commercial Cards can play different, but important, roles in Channel Management in three steps including:

  • What is channel management?
  • The three roles of cards (Purchasing, Settlement and Enabling).
  • Single Use Account (SUA) enabling the catalog channel to deliver end-to-end process efficiency.
Target Audience Procurement professionals and card program managers seeking to optimize use of Commercial Cards to support expansion of their Commercial Card programs.
