Attend to learn how RPA needs people to be successful. You are not trying to replace people with a robot, you’re just trying to take the robot out of the people.
• Understand why people are the most important part of RPA. • Learn the importance of and how to build your RPA team. • Learn about "Purple People." Who they are and why they are so important.
Learn about what RPA is and what it could do for your organization.
• Finding the right software tool. • Engaging with the right consulting partners. • Why it makes sense for a finance department to engage in RPA.
Hear about the work VSP has done to use RPA to automate.
• Financial transaction clearing. • Recurring credit card postings (not P-Card specific). • Accounts Payable statement review.

Presenter |
Grace Long Senior Manager, Finance Technology and Automation VSP Global
Grace Long is VSP Global’s senior manager of their Finance Technology and Automation team. Grace oversees two very different areas of work. A large part of her team is built of Financial Analysts who support all the projects and systems that interface with VSP’s accounting system. The other portion of her team is made up of developers who are trained and certified to model processes using the Blue Prism RPA software and they support the global company goal of continuous improvement. Four years ago, Grace helped bring RPA to VSP Global and built it from the ground up. Grace looks at this as one her greatest accomplishments since she considers herself a technologically challenged person. Her degree is in accounting. Her passion is showing people how relative, easy and useful RPA can be.
