Fifth Third and Brex Forge $5.6 Billion Commercial Card Alliance

Fifth Third Bank and Brex have entered a multi-year partnership that shifts $5.6 billion in annual Commercial Card volume onto a new Brex-powered platform, making it the default solution for Fifth Third’s commercial clients. The deal gives Brex access to roughly 8% of the U.S. commercial banking sector while giving Fifth Third customers AI-driven controls, automated expense management and real-time payments.
