Question:

How do you verify the identity of a cardholder before a card is issued to them?
Via an HR verification
Employee ID with photo and employee number
Request come internally and we verify with Financial manager and internal systems.
Our company has specific employee ID numbers for each employee which we use in the verification process.
Photo ID
HR, on-site, chain of command verfications/approvals prior to implementation.
Cards are only issued to permanent staff members. Physical cards and PINs sent separately to the Senior Administrative Assistant at their respective location.
Verify via directory
Employee number is a field they have to complete on their card application.
I meet with individual requesters before issuing a new card. I also check their HR profile to ensure they are staff and not affiliates or contractors.
They must sign for the card and provide ID.
Cards are delivered to employees either at their home or office. The card cannot be activated without the unique ID number. The Program Manager issues the Unique ID number upon receipt of the Corporate Card Agreement.
I'm not sure how best to answer this question. The cardholder/employee background check was conducting before they were hired at the company.
When they come in to pick up card they must show an ID in order to get the card.
All employees are issued cards on corporate liability per our program, no credit score verification is done
Using the PR record
SVP approval before online application link is sent to applicant; administrator verifies information on application before approving
They have to be employed, have a company issued email address, their supervisor, VP and accounting have to approve the application before it is processed.
Internal application and approval process, in addition to mandatory training attendance.
The cardholder's manager is required to request the form, and then we use the company ERP to verify and issue a card.
Social security, address and Human Resources information.
We look through their job profile information in Workday.
We use data from or HR dept.
Cardholders request cards through our secure portal that relays information directly to the bank.
We don't allow anyone to receive a card unless they have been employed at least 3 months. During that time, they have to complete an application, get manager's approval and receive cardholder training which is taught by the program administrator. If they don't complete the training, they cannot get a card. All cards come to the program administrator, not to the individual. They have to come pick them up and sign for it. If they are not wearing their work badge we ask for ID. No one is allowed to pick up a card for someone else.
Name, dob, and address.
Cardholders have to show their ID to us in order to get their card.
We meet them in person
The request have to be approved by their manager, so when it's submitted, it routes to the manager and we use their employee # as the basis for that.
Both the department head/elected official and purchasing agent verify the application and the applicants employee ID number is verified in the database.
Human Resources
We have a workflow; they have to pick up their card in person and produce their employee id card
Through company's corporate directory.
We verify the employee through the Human Resources portal and verify they have an employee id through our financials system. We don't issue a pcard without their employee id.
Ask for a photo ID (driver's license, work ID, passport) and they have to sign/date our checklist that indicates they picked up the card.
If someone other than the cardholder picks up the card, they must have a form completed/signed by the cardholder that indicates they give permission for the person to pick up the card on their behalf. The person picking up the card must also present a photo ID and sign/date our checklist that indicates they picked up the card
