With the responsibility of managing three card programs, Stephanie and Susan fortified their card policies and procedures manuals to achieve their goal of simplifying the management of their programs. They discuss how you can achieve the same results while also:

gaining leadership support
- creating continual online policy and process training
- partnering with other departments to support the policy (i.e., audit services, accounting, supply chain, IT)
- enforcing a detailed policy and manual by auditing the program to the policy

About the Speakers |
Stephanie Dowell, CPCP Cox Card Programs Manager Cox Communications, Inc.
Stephanie Dowell has been with Cox since January 2008 and currently serves as a Cox card programs manager. Her background and expertise span
over 20 years of purchasing, procurement and customer service, in conjunction with over a decade in finance. Her years of experience have contributed to the success of managing a diverse Procurement Card, Travel Card, Fuel Card and eProcurement
Catalog Programs at Cox Enterprises and its subsidiaries of companies, Cox Communications, Cox Automotive and Cox Media Group. Stephanie and her team serve over 11,000 cardholders with a card base of 20,000. Stephanie is supported
by a wonderful team. She has experience in policy and manual creations, trainings, audits and much more. Stephanie has been a member of the NAPCP since 2011. She achieved her Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) certification
in July 2014. She is a member of the NAPCP Corporate Advisory Team. She has been a member of the Atlanta NAMIC Chapter since 2008 and has served as co-chair of the membership committee. Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration
in Finance from Mercer University. In her spare time, Stephanie teaches Sunday School, enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, spending time at the beach and attending Atlanta Falcons Football games. Rise Up!
Susan Washington, CPCP Cox Card Programs Analyst Cox Communications, Inc.
Susan Washington has been with Cox since 2006. She currently serves as a Cox card programs analyst reporting to Stephanie Dowell. Prior to her current role with Cox Enterprises, she served with Cox Communications as a senior analyst in corporate
accounting where part of her responsibilities included Procurement Card administration. Susan has over 10 years of experience in procurement, customer service and accounting. Her years of experience have contributed to the success of a
diverse Procurement Card, Travel Card, Fuel Card and eProcurement Catalog Programs at Cox Enterprises and its subsidiaries of companies, Cox Communications, Cox Automotive and Cox Media Group. Susan serves over 10,000 cardholders with
a card base of 20,000. She has been a member of NAPCP since 2016 and earned her Certified Purchasing Card Professional Certification (CPCP) in 2017. Susan holds a BBA degree in business management from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
