Starting with Commerce in 2013, Jason brings over 15 years of experience in the invoice process and payment industry. Managing several organizations utilizing AP automation solutions, as well as designing and implementing AP automation solutions to serve various industries, Jason possesses insight regarding both the user’s and the provider’s perspective. Specific to his efforts with Commerce Bank, Jason consults with clients to evaluate their current accounts payable processes and creates a solution "blueprint." An important first move toward automating invoicing and payments, the AP Analysis engagement analyzes a client's current AP processes, helps establish strategic goals, outlines the steps required to "go paperless” and provides a comprehensive ROI justification and business case. Jason earned a bachelor’s degree from Clarke College, Dubuque, Iowa, in Computer Science; he also holds the Accredited Payables Solutions Consultant certification (APSC), which further demonstrates his knowledge and overall understanding of AP processes.
