Question:

Are there other topic areas you would like the PCPCC to consider adding to the CPCP exam content outline?

For example: global considerations (PSD2, GDPR), technology advancements (cryptocurrency, tokenization, blockchain)

Electronic Payments, Fraud Prevention
Technology advancements is a definite need in the industry
tech advancements and security
I think it should be added to th CPCP exam, however how will that affect those who have passed the CPCP exam already?
Yes! Tokenization and blockchain would be very helpful topics to address in the outline; basic familiarity will be sorely needed in the next few years as these payment options become more commonplace. Cryptocurrency could also be a "basic topics" kind of thing, but not sure that will advance as quickly as the other two.
Technology advancements
Tokenization
The security measures taken in regards to technology of the card.
I would put more emphasis on Managing a Program and/or Optimization. I think most users fall into an existing situation and don't have the luxury of building a program. Technology and Electronic Payables are only going to become more significant as companies expand and the globe gets smaller. I think most cardholders, regardless of program type, want a system that is simple and easy to use. Can they reconcile while traveling?? Can they use a mobile phone to reconcile? Are there increased security risks? Maybe there should be a small section about the cardholders - standard goals that programs try to achieve?
credit card fraud and cyber security
Yes, for the qualification to be relevant and valuable in Europe for example, it would need to include topics like GDPR, PSD2 and other regional and global regulatory considerations. Including a section about technology advancements like tokenization, blockchain, new card and payment technologies (contactless/biometric cards etc) would also give more of an edge to the qualification.
