Question:

How has your organization’s work-from-home policy changed since the pandemic?
There is no longer a work from home option for employees
many positions are now not required to come into the office and can work virtually if they wish.
The work-from-home policy changed to be more flexible so employees could work from home. Prior to the pandemic, working from home required a dedicated office, no caring for children while working from home. Now, any work area is fine and child care while working is normal. We may also take home monitors and other office equipment that is needed.
When we return, we will be able to work up to 2 days per week from home with approval.

Hardly anyone used to work from home. During the pandemic many people transitioned to home. HR is working on what changes to make to our work from home policy - some jobs have to be on site, some can be hybrid or remote. They are working to classify each role accordingly.

Yes, some departments were allowed to work from home on a full-time basis as other departments followed a split schedule by working home for one week and in the office the next. This decision was at the department heads discretion.

My office was in the office full time. As of 3-16-20, we are all home full time. Everyone was able to take their computers, chairs, scanners, printers, etc home. It is working well, so there are no plans to go back. I go into the office 4 hours/week to hand out new and renewal ProCards and Fuel Cards.
