Institute of Commercial Payments has been awarding the Certified Purchasing Card Professional (CPCP) credential since 2006 to Commercial Card and Payment professionals who have demonstrated a mastery of the body of knowledge in
the specialized field of Purchasing Cards.

Successful CPCPs have a minimum of two years of work experience, 15 points (which provide evidence of education, industry participation, professional development or continuing education) and obtain a passing score of 77 percent on the exam.
